Veterans' Advisory Board


The Veterans’ Advisory Board was established by Ordinance in 2010. The board serves as an ad hoc advisory board to the Township Council for the purpose of keeping Council informed of developments regarding veterans' issues. The members shall be residents of Galloway Township and are appointed by council to serve on a volunteer basis for three years. The mission of the Galloway Veterans Advisory Board is to:
 
  • Serve as a liaison between Galloway's veterans and the township council
  • Identify issues affecting township veterans
  • Provide veterans with information on federal, state and county resources
  • Conduct patriotic observances and ceremonies, and promote veteran awareness
  • Submit an annual report to the township council
